Andgar's Career Acceleration Program (CAP) Summer 2024 Session

----------Pay range: $18/hr - 6-week Summer Session runs July 8th - August 16th 2024 ----------

Upon successful completion of the paid (CAP) training program, trainees may be eligible for full-time employment and career advancement opportunities with Andgar. Full-time positions pay $20-$25/hr depending on the position

Sheet Metal & HVAC

Andgar's paid training program will start with basic construction knowledge using NCCER's Core Curriculum, moving into a beginner-level understanding of where and how sheet metal is used in the built environment for HVAC systems and on a building's exterior envelope.

Completion of the CareerSafe OSHA 10 Construction Safety portion of our class earns you an OSHA 10 certificate and wallet card.

Requirements

 

CAP Training Requirements

You certainly don't have to have any HVAC or building construction trades experience, but there are a few minimum requirements we need you to have before we can bring you into our training program.

  • High School diploma or GED - 18+ Years Old
  • Able to pass a drug screening, including marijuana
  • Clean driving/DOT record
  • General physical abilities, as listed on the full job/program description

Hands-On Training

Accredited training including Construction Math, Hand & Power Tool Use, Construction Drawings, Communication & Employability Skills, and Material Handling. 

In our training classroom, at our hands-on training lab, and through on-the-job experiences, successful trainees will be ready for full-time employment with Andgar.
